The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism was developed following the tragic case of Oliver McGowan, a young man with autism and a learning disability, whose experiences highlighted the urgent need for better awareness and understanding within health and social care.
By training Sharon as a Tier 2 Lead Facilitator, we are ensuring our team gains deeper, evidence-based knowledge in supporting people with complex needs, autism and learning disabilities Sharon will not only gain expert knowledge but deliver high-quality training to our wider team, equipping them with the skills and confidence to provide the best possible care Join us in celebrating Sharon’s journey as she takes on this important role in shaping the future of care at Ultima Care.
