Questions & Answers.
What types of care and support do you offer for families?
We provide a full range of homecare and nursing support — from companionship and daily living assistance to complex and clinical care. Whether it’s a few hours a week or round-the-clock support, our aim is to help your loved one live comfortably and safely at home. We also offer respite care, live-in care, and short-term recovery support following hospital discharge.
How do I know which service is right for my loved one?
We start with a free, no-obligation care assessment. One of our experienced team members will visit you to discuss your loved one’s needs, preferences, and routines. From there, we’ll design a personalised care plan that reflects their wishes and lifestyle — and we’ll review it regularly to make sure it stays right for them.
Are your carers fully trained and qualified?
Yes — all our care professionals go through a detailed recruitment and training process. This includes enhanced DBS checks, shadowing, induction training, and ongoing development in areas such as dementia, medication management, and end-of-life care. Many hold or are working towards recognised qualifications in Health and Social Care.
How are care costs calculated and what do they include?
Our care costs are transparent and based on the level of support required. Rates include your carer’s time, travel between visits, and all care management and supervision. We’ll always provide a clear written quote before care begins, so you know exactly what to expect — no hidden charges.
Can care be flexible or adjusted over time?
Absolutely. We understand that needs can change. Whether it’s increasing hours, reducing visits, or adding new types of support, we’ll adapt the care plan whenever required. Your care coordinator will stay in touch to ensure the support always fits your family’s circumstances.
How do you safeguard dignity, privacy, and independence?
Every aspect of our care is centred on respect. We train our carers to promote independence wherever possible — encouraging clients to do as much for themselves as they wish, with the reassurance that support is always there. Privacy, dignity, and choice are at the heart of everything we do.
How do you measure quality and ensure high standards of care?
Quality is part of our DNA. We’re regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and follow clear internal auditing and feedback processes. We regularly collect client and family surveys, carry out spot checks, and invest in staff training to make sure our service remains safe, consistent, and person-centred.
What support is available for families and carers?
Caring for a loved one can be challenging, so we’re here for families too. Our team offers emotional support, guidance on funding or benefits, and practical advice whenever you need it. We also work closely with local charities, hospices, and support groups to connect families with additional help in the community.
Can you help with hospital visits, medical appointments, or liaising with professionals?
Yes. Our carers can accompany your loved one to GP or hospital appointments and relay updates as needed. We also work in partnership with healthcare professionals, district nurses, and social workers to ensure care is well-coordinated and fully aligned with any medical advice.
How do I get started or speak to someone?
Simply contact our friendly team — you can call us, complete the enquiry form on our website, or email us directly. We’ll arrange an informal chat to understand your needs and guide you through the next steps. There’s no pressure or commitment — just clear advice and support from the start.
