On Saturday 21st June, our Ultima Care & Nursing team proudly took part in the Pilgrims Hospices sponsored walk — and what a day it was!

With blue skies, high spirits, and a fair few blister plasters, our very own Paul and Matt tackled the walk head-on, all in support of an incredible cause. Thanks to generous donations and heartfelt encouragement from friends, colleagues, and the wider community, we’ve raised £785 so far — with more still coming in.

As headline sponsors of this year’s event, this wasn’t just a walk — it was a statement of our commitment to supporting compassionate, end-of-life care across East Kent. Pilgrims Hospices provide an invaluable service to so many families, and we’re honoured to have played our part in helping them continue their work.

We’ve shared a few highlights from the day in the collage below — including scenic views, tired feet, and even a well-earned sports massage!

We’ll be visiting Pilgrims next week to hand over the cheque in person, and we’ll continue to champion the importance of hospice care in our community.
