This week marked the start of our Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training – a vital step in our commitment to delivering truly inclusive care.
We’re proud to be part of a movement that’s making real change in health and social care. The training equips our team with a deeper understanding of how to support people with learning disabilities and autism, always focusing on the person before the condition.
We’re now around a quarter of the way through our full training programme, with more sessions to come in August.
A huge thank you to the incredible co-presenters who led the sessions – especially the young people who bravely shared their personal experiences. You were brilliant, insightful, and a real breath of fresh air.
And of course, Bella couldn’t resist getting involved – safe to say she’s now an unofficial training mascot.
Well done to everyone taking part – your commitment to learning and inclusive care truly makes a difference.
